WMDI MassHub Scholarship

The Wildflower Montessori Diversity Initiative (WMDI) was created in order to support Future Teacher Leaders from historically marginalized and underrepresented communities on their journey in opening a Wildflower School. The WMDI MassHub Scholarship covers the full cost for a MACTE accredited Montessori teacher training program. Eligible training programs include infant-toddler programs, primary (ages 3-6) programs, and elementary (ages 6-9, 9-12 or 6-12) programs. In-person programs are preferred, but we are willing to explore distance learning programs on a case by case basis. Recipients will be cocooned in a nurturing cohort, welcomed into the Wildflower community and offered additional supports and opportunities needed to start their own Wildflower school. Ideal candidates are educators who have experience working with their desired age group and are passionate about starting a Wildflower school in Massachusetts neighborhoods which have traditionally had limited access to Montessori or other high quality education options.
